Abstract

|
A Clinical evaluation of HS-592 (Tavegyl®), a new antihistaminic agent has shown to be very effective in the symptomatic treatment of perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis.
44 allergic rhinitis patients were evaluated and its global improvement ratings showed that a satisfactory response was obtained in 81.80 of the patients. The drug was easily handled and the dosage ranged 1mg to 2mg daily _depending on patients age, and the duration of treatment was prolonged depending on the severity of the symptoms. No serious side effects were observed during the evaluation.
